Travel information
Follow the N2 towards Cape Town.
- Continue along the N2 for at least 15-20 minutes until it rises into an elevated right road that rounds the city and then drops down to the first set of traffic lights at the foot of the city. Here the highway becomes Buitengracht Street.
- Carry on straight until you reach the 4th set of traffic lights at Strand Street.
- Turn right up the hill, continue through another set of traffic lights and, just 2 blocks further up Strand Street, you will see Ali's Café on the right-hand side.
- Here, you turn right into Loader Street and you'll find The Charles reception at number 1.
